The military- industrial complex needs an adversary in order to keep selling their weapons and weapons systems.
Russia needs an adversary to keep the populace from fighting amongst themselves.
China needs the Americans and Russians to keep spendinfgthemselves into bankruptcy by any meaans possible.
The possibility of a new accord between Putin and Trump frightens the "establishment" so deeply that there are no holes barred from trying to prevent peace in the world. One can always trust a Russian to be "Russian". Trump knows this and will always keep his agreements at arms length and take all words with a a grain of salt. I am amazed that the so called lefties are jumping in bed with the establishment quicker than ticks on a moose carcass.
It just does not make sense to promote animosity and war over friendship and peace. (Unless you stand to gain financially and to hell with the consequences).
Nasty pelosi in a "cesspool spray" recites the definition of scapegoat from her Webster's pocket dictionary as hallelujah cummings nods in sage or simple agreement both oblivious to the fact that it is a fake tweet .....Meanwhile the steady drip ,drip drip of confirmation of President Trump's cabinet nominees continues.....
I find it simply amazing that Rebecca and others are putting forward the idea that Russia just wants to be our friend, that Trump and Putin should just lock arms together and make the world a better place. Kumbaya and all that.
Russia will do what is in the best interest of Russia. They played Trump like a fiddle during the campaign and are watching the resulting not-ready-for-prime-time Administration meltdown in a leadership vacuum.
“It just does not make sense to promote animosity and war over friendship and peace”. Stunning naiveté…
In the end when the transcript of call is published someone is going to be had by their own doing.
Basically so what if he talked to a Russian anything. In end it doesn't matter. Unless they were communicating the launch codes.
Both side are not handling this well but I bet Trump wins in end.

Wasn't that Obama's much ballyhooed idea about dealing with adversaries? Just sit down across the table and have a nice talk?/

"What did Hillary do that was
What did Hillary do that was illegal?
Are you serious?"
Tom C, if anyone should be able to spot a troll, it should be a troll
Well, I'm not a troll, so I'm oblivious, then.
"Well, I'm not a troll, so I'm oblivious, then."
Yeah... not so sure about that
First Conway said Flynn resigned.
Then Spicer said trump couldn't trust him so demanded his resignation.
Now potus says Kelly was treated unfairly.
Translation: it's difficult to keep lies straight
