AMG's Registration Policy

AMG has a limited number of posters. I'm looking for quality, not quantity.

If you think you as a poster will add to AMG you're welcome to send me an email explaining why. If you have references - i.e. a current AMGer - that helps. If I agree with you - I'll email you instructions on how to register.

Before emailing me - read AMG's User Agreement. Feel free to contact me with any questions/comments.

IMPORTANT: You must use a valid email address for registering. Please, no free email addresses.

IMPORTANT: Anonymity is protected on AMG. Any AMGer who gives a public positive identification to any other AMGer without that AMGer's knowledge and consent will be banned from AMG for life. No parole.

AMG's “The Public Square” is in real-time. It is impossible for AMG to review all messages, to confirm the validity of posted info. AMG cannot always monitor all contents of posted messages and is not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the message author, not necessarily the views of AMG or any entity associated with AMG.

Do you think a posted message is objectionable? Contact AMG immediately by email. If we agree a message is objectionable we will remove it as soon as we can.

You agree, through your use of “The Public Square 2006,” that you will not use AMG to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

IMPORTANT: To satisfy the U.S. Copyright laws, original posts should be 75 words OR LESS in length with a link to the original source online. The first sentence of the article must be posted in full. In Replies, short quotes from copyrighted articles and web sites may be used. Do not post entire copyrighted articles into Replies. State your opinion in your own words. Any copyrighted material posted in Replies must include a link to the original source online.

Otherwise, You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by AMG.

AMG reserves the right to delete any message.

AMG reserves the right to ban people from posting.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless AMG, the makers of the bulletin board software, and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

AMG also reserves the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

NOTE: Ads, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate on AMG.

We reserve the right to close any thread we find objectionable or block any article. If an individual poster is in repeated violation of these rules, that poster will be removed from the registry and posting privileges will be rescinded.

We do not accept registrations from free and certain other email services.

AMG Policy on 'Conspiracy Theory' Posts

AMG is a place for a broad range of topics, but it’s not a place for all topics. Effective Feb. 18, 2008 at 12:01 a.m., what are generally referred to as “conspiracy theories” are not welcome on AMG. I know some people, including people I like, enjoy digging into The Bilderberg Group, The Trilateral Commission, The Council on Foreign Relations, The Rothschild Family, Control of the Federal Reserve and other topics loosely defined “conspiracy theories.” That’s fine. Fortunately, the world web wide is big enough that fans of those topics, and topics like them, will have no trouble finding another home.
