Debate circles funding for governor's race

Mills said it's a plus, not a minus, to be the only Republican running using public money.

"It's very much to my advantage," he said. "The polling reflects three of four voters want us to detach ourselves from special interest money."

The Edgecomb Republicans will be hosting canidiate for Governor Paul LePage tomorrow night at the Edgecomb town hall. The meeting will begin at 6:30 this is an open meeting all are welcome to attend! The town hall is located right off route 27 in Edgecomb maine.

Let us look at the facts!

Obama care proposes to create a federal insurance regulatory board to regulate insurance companies now regulated under State authority. In view of the fact that no authority has been granted to the federal government under our existing Constitution allowing the federal government to enter the various states and regulate the subject matter in question, every member of Congress voting in favor of Obama Care would be violating their oath of office and voting to usurp a power forbidden by our Constitution’s Tenth Amendment.

..for the first time since the 1980s, when Congress last overhauled Social Security, the retirement program is projected to pay out more in benefits than it collects in taxes — nearly $29 billion more....Now the government will have to borrow even more money, much of it abroad, to start paying back the IOUs, and the timing couldn't be worse. The government is projected to post a record $1.5 trillion budget deficit this year, followed by trillion dollar deficits for years to come.

Lay abouts, union agitators, and welfare moms gathered around Congresswoman Chellie Pingree in Monument Square as she passed out money from the government. Then came Republicans and taxpayers who said to her, “Why do you give these people my money? Why can’t I keep it for myself?”
